ELEVEN PAST PARTICIPANTS NAMED HIGH SCHOOL TENNIS ALL-AMERICANS

Each spring the top 40 boys and top 40 girls in the country are honored as National High School Tennis All Americans by the National High School Tennis All-American Foundation. In 2017 eleven former participants received this honor. All eleven of these honorees participated in the 2017 tournament. Among this year's honorees are 2017 Most Valuable Player selections Chambers Easterling and Liz Norman. The four girls' selections marks the most in the tournament history since 2014. Four of the boys' selections, including Arman Dave, Chambers Easterling, Brooks Green, and Drew Singerman were selected for the second straight year.

To be eligible to receive consideration as an All-American tennis player a student/athlete must maintain an above average academic and citizenship record, compete on a high school tennis team, and garner an individual national ranking. Among the elite group of student/athletes honored in the past as tennis All-Americans are many current and former professional tennis players, including Pete Sampras, Todd Martin, Kimberly Po, Aaron Krickstein, Jeff Tarango, Taylor Dent and Sam Querrey. All decisions for All-American honors are researched and authorized by a panel of eight (8) National District Chairmen who are highly respected high school coaches.
